A journal snippet...

by "ccarter@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <ccarter@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 27, 2008 at 02:15 PM

I wrote the following snippet in my journal. Because it's relevant to
zines, I'm posting it in cobweb-ridden alt.zines:

"I totally want to be a librarian again. But, because I've always
wanted to be a writer and God took time out of His busy schedule to
give me things to write about, I'll try the writing thing first.

I find it funny that, even though I'd like to write more fiction, God
fa****oned me to write zines. In other words, He gave me a life worth
writing about.

We live in a life that's greatly changing. And I, compared to most
people, recognize those changes. Zines are totally cool because, as
long as it's well-written, one can write a simple article about going
to the grocery store to by ripe bananas for the banana bread being
made that evening for supper with old friends. In the article, can
also write stories about why these friends are im****tant enough to
make you special banana bread for...you can also write about what
banana bread so special."
