Oh, for goodness' sake. They're the same bleeding thing. And the wrong
spelling is used by lots of people, each more pretentious than the
next. (I do like the way you managed to miss Mr Smith's suggestion
that the wrong spelling is used in goth 'cyrcles'. This shouldn't be
taken as encouragement to pay attention to him.)

If you ask me, and even if you don't, industrial music has been going
downhill ever since "Mongoloid".
